Through this project, I aim to educate, inform, and spread awareness about human trafficking; what human trafficking is, its effects on the community, its global reach, how it is punished, and how through awareness, we can work to prevent this danger that is hidden in plain sight. This project will investigate human trafficking both nationally and locally, with a focus on Maryland's Eastern Shore and the contents of the Epstein files. I will create an educational website, create a podcast on Spotify, host presentations locally, and produce a short PSA video to raise awareness about human trafficking using information gained through research, interviews with professionals, and data analysis.
